No Sympathy 4U, Rhodent. I live with 2 teens. I used to be a neatnik and still am on the inside. I cannot possibly keep it up, so I went on strike a few yrs back. (It's also the only way I get my painting done.)
YOur home is so neat compared to ours. We used to have things put in their places or only need an hr or two to straighten up. That was about 10 yrs ago. Oh for those days again!

I still do many chores. There is no way we can keep up with the mess w/ the theatre extracurriculars my daughters are involved in. (They just about live there every day until bedtime, on the weekends, and on school holidays!) Plus, my husband works long hours.

So I am somewhat content for ONE clean area at a time. Gone are the days when the entire house shined consistently. Maybe once, our older one goes to college, it will improve if I can prevent Mr. Escape Artist from taking over her room to store HIS stuff in! LOL
