Saturday

Yup. It is Saturday morning and the I-feel-blah-and- want-to-go-back-to-bed syndrome is back for another visit. Maybe it was the 11 hour workday yesterday... nah, probably not. I've had two cups of tea, checked my email, read some blogger posts, scratched the cats a few times, and have decided that if I don't perk up after writing this post, I will go back to bed for a "nap" for a bit.

After my nap, I have a few things I want to get done today. I won't tell you what they are so that if I don't get them all done, you will never know. I will tell you that I want to get out by the pool this afternoon if it is not raining... I don't think that missing that will cast any dispersions upon my character in your minds. Unless you are a warped person, in which case, I will just laugh and consider the source.

"L" and her dust bunny post has me considering checking under the bed in the master bedroom to see if I have any hoppers under there. We have a king-sized bed that is very low so it is hard to get under there. It could be frightening! But I am just considering it, mind you! I make no guarantees!

One thing I must do is change the cat boxes. This is a matter of self-preservation. I will either die from toxic fumes or cat bites if I don't get it done. Scud fills them up quickly. He is a big cat (over 20lbs) and eats a lot. Need I say more?

Ok. It is definitley nap time!

Awww, what a sweet, BIG cat! Hope you get in some rest and napping, that's what Saturday is all about! (no, not really but I can wish!) You need some rest after an 11-hour workday!!! OMG!

Scud is one big, fatcat! A cutie though. I think I am going to have a lazy day today, and might go off for a nap myself.

Just dropped by to wish you a Happy 4th.

That is one serious slice of kitty!! Sort of a bleached out Garfield

I'd eb staring at his two different eyes all the time. That is so cool.

What a great kitty. I love those eyes. Is his fur every soft? One of our cats is a calico, and I could swear that her patches of white fur are softer than the rest. Hmmm.

Yes, Julie, he is very soft!

Someone needs to go on a diet... what is the cat eating? You might try some of the high-quality Science Diet foods. Then she could eat less but be getting good nutrition. They even have a dry food for overweight cats. I feed my cat Science Diet dry mix for Senior Cats, plus Gerber's 2nd Stages Baby Food in beef, ham or chicken! The vet actually recommended it when she was a kitten. Now she's 24 years old (in real years) and weighs 7 lbs!!!! She loves the baby food. Just put it on a small paper plate and throw out the leftovers (gets a little gross after sitting out awhile).

My cat's white parts ARE softer than her black parts, too!

Wow that is one big cat. We bought some of the "poop less" food ($$) for the kittens but it doesn't seem to be working so far.
